She was predeceased by: her parents, James Leonard and Carrie Rebecca Edelen; her husband Thomas Francis Brown, Sr.; her siblings, James L. Edelen (Steppie), John F. Edelen (Frank), Thomas Earl Edelen, William Arthur Edelen, John S. Edelen (Sam), Mary D. Johnson (Monk) and Carrie E. Bennett (Elizabeth); her close friend Catherine Hicks; and her pets, Thelma Johnson (Elaine) and Edna Reed.
She is survived by: her children, Irvin M. Edelen, Thomas F. Brown, Jr., Mary V. Brown (Ronnie) and Connie E. Brown; her brother George A. Edelen (Johnny); her sister-in-law Marie C. Edelen; her daughter-in-law Cecelia Rochester Brown; her granddaughter Keyonna T. Brown; and her great grandchild Jalen M. Brown. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and other devoted family and friends.
