He was predeceased by: his parents, George Lafayette and Mamie Dyson Buckler of Laurel Grove, Maryland.; his siblings, George L. Buckler and Elizabeth Buckler Burch; and his wife Norma N. Buckler.
He is survived by: his daughters, Susan (Joel), Vicki (John) and Patsy (Bob). He is also survived by granddaughters, eleven (11) great-grandchildren and three (3) great-great-grandchildren.
