He is survived by: his wife Peggy Ann Hoover of Charlotte Hall, MD; his children, Douglas Hoover (Victoria) of Coltons Point, MD and Susan Hoover of Mechanicsville, MD; his daughter-in-law Wanda Hoover of Mechanicsville, MD; his grandsons, John Wood, IV and Douglas Hoover, Jr.; his great grandchildren, Dougie, Mason, Audrina and Jason Jr.; and his brother Jerry Hoover.
