He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis O. Evans Sr. and Maria L. Curtis Evans; his daughter Ellen Jo Evans; his siblings, Agnes Cecilia Barnes, Mary Gertrude Harris, John Purnell Evans, Joseph Franklin Evans Sr. and Betty Ann Carter; and his godson John Greenwell Jr..
He is survived by: his children, Ann Swales (Walter Sr.), Franics Stewart-Evans, James Evans, John Dickens, Donald Evans, Yolanda Evans, Ricky Evans (Kim), Derrick Ford, Tasha Evans, Justin Evans and Kimberly Barnes; his sibling Thomas Evans of Lexington Park; his sisters-in-law, Carlene Evans and Arlene Evans; and his close friend Sandra Ford (Mae). He is also survived by his grandchildren and other loving relatives.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 29th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the God's House of Refuge (46694 Midway Dr, Lexington Park, MD 20653). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 29th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, November 29th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Charles Memorial Gardens (26325 Point Lookout Rd, Leonardtown, MD 20650).
