He was predeceased by: his parents, Myrtle Thomas (Dare) and Edward Jones; his brother Franklin Thomas; his son Roland Wallace; and his mother-in-law Irene Parran.
He is survived by: his great grandchildren, Tootie, Rock and James; his pets, Orion and Kenzie; his wife Gloria Celestine Jones; his sisters, Elizabeth Pratt (Warren) and Sharon Boone (Carlos); his children, Renita Parran-Scott (John), Darnell Wallace, Timmie Wallace, Almos Holland, Tonyia Logan and Shavon Cordova (Julian); and his grandchildren, John Scott, Jr., Ariyah Scott, Tiarra Williams, Arayna Scott, Shanora Logan, Chanteria, Devin Grimes, Breonna Logan, Brandon Wallace, Jordan Scott, Timmiera Wallace and Teya Wallace. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins, and in-laws.
