He was predeceased by: his father Arthur Harvey Douglas; his son Brian J. Douglas; his siblings, Ray Douglas, Gloria Blackwood and Ina Wells; and his grandson Brian J. Douglas II.
He is survived by: his son David A. Douglas (John Fisher) of Brandywine, MD; his wife Carolyn M. Latham; and his siblings, Richard of Temple Hills, MD and Linda Mills of Longs, SC. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
