It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth E. Lewis (Charlestown, Maryland), born in Creston, North Carolina, who passed away on November 29, 2018, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her children, Charlestown, Paul, Martha VanDenHeuvel of Baltimore and Patricia Stoots of Florence, SC.; her grandchildren, Stella Walton, Joan Lewis of Panama City, FL, Barry VanDenHeuvel of Baltimore, MD, Rodney Lewis Jr., Jodie Lewis of Jupiter, FL and Brian Bullock of Las Vegas, NV.; her husband Robert P. Lewis; her son Rodney P. Lewis; and her grandsons, Steven Bitanga and Daniel K. VanDenHeuvel.

The family requests, in lieu of flowers, to make a donation to St. Johns in honor of Ruth.
