She was predeceased by: her parent Lloyd Cooper; and her siblings, Alice Miller and Leslie Cooper. She is survived by: her parent Margaret Cooper (Murphy); and her husband Robert Phillips. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations made payable to St. John's UM Church, in care of Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, MD 21901.
