It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Lavern Furness of Charlestown, Maryland, born in Baltimore, Maryland, who passed away on December 28, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Resch and Eloise Resch (Hoefler); her husband Russell M. Furness, Sr.; and her daughter Pamela Engel. She is survived by: her children, Russell M. Furness, Jr. of Glen Burnie, Carla Grimes of Eastern Shore and Robyn Furness-Fallin of Fairhope, Alabama; her close friend Bill Jubb; and her brother Hank Resch of Florida. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
