He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Benton, Jr. and Mary Daniels Benton Tyler; and his son Paul "Terry" Benton, IV (Charlotte Shores Benton). He is survived by: his daughters, Renee Dorsey (Ben) of Elkridge, MD and Zoe Benton; his siblings, Richard Benton (Cathy) of Fort Myers, FL, Gerald Benton (Brenda) of Deal Island, MD, Mark Benton (Gail) of Eden, MD and Cindy Swift (Billy Gene) of Crisfield, MD.; and his grandchildren, Christopher Benton, Rebecca Dorsey, Nathan Dorsey, Leah Dorsey and Brantley Hall. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
