Early in life he worked as a waterman and later went to work for the state of Maryland where he retired he was a US Army veteran. He is survived by his wife of 66 years Thelma Louise Brittingham Corbett. He had two sons Jack and Mike three grandchildren Jamie Lynn Hughes John Steven Corbett and Krista Lee Corbett five great grandchildren and a brother Leland Corbett of North East Maryland funeral services are at 2 PM at Hinchman funeral home in Princess Anne Maryland we’re friends may call Wednesday evening from 7 to 9 And one hour prior to the service interment will be at Springhill memory Gardens in Hebron Maryland.
