He was predeceased by: his parents, Manual Dennis and Eunice Dennis; his wife Linda Dennis (Larmore); and his siblings, Jeanette Van (Dennis), Zee of Memphis, TN, James Dennis, Curtis Dennis (Curt) and Phillip Dennis.
He is survived by: his children, Eric (Donna Popovici) of Middletown, RI and Lisa Stevens (James) of Owings Mills, MD; his grandchildren, Keely Dennis of Groton, CT and James Stevens of Owings Mills, MD.; and his siblings, Carolyn Cheek (Dennis) of Savannah, GA, George Dennis of Willards, MD, Samual Dennis (Sam), William Dennis (Bill), David Dennis (Dave) of Pasadena, MD and Susan Riley (Dennis) of Fruitland, MD..
