He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Novosel and Helen Novosel (Chaney). He is survived by: his former spouse Catherina Murry; his wife Linda J. Mustain; and his children, Victoria Novosel Holland, Jerry Lin Mustain-Velez (Tony), Karen Novosel (Kathy) and Susan Novosel. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

At his request, there is no formal service, and the burial will be private. There will be a celebration of life in the future once the COVID19 restrictions have been lifted.
