Nellie Catherine Perone Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nellie Catherine Perone (Centreville, Maryland), who passed away on January 12, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Lakowitz and Catherine Lakowitz; her husband Dominic Perone; her siblings, Joseph Lakowitz, Andrew Lakowitz, Charles Lakowitz, Helen Mazey, Sophie "Ginger" Moeller, Frances "Midge" Lakowitz and Marion Lakowitz; and her grandchildren, Laura Elizabeth Perone and John Daniel Plaskon.
She is survived by: her children, Polish, English, Patty Plaskon (John) of Easton, MD, Vincent Perone (Donna) of Portsmouth, VA and Michael Perone (Catherine) of Bernardsville, NJ; her grandchildren, Michael Perone (Liz), Natalie Perone (Joseph Zitarelli) of Philadelphia, PA, Thomas Perone, Milo Perone, Eddie Perone of Bernardsville, NJ, Sonya Plaskon of Baltimore, MD, Sam Plaskon (Lia) of Easton, MD and James Plaskon (Jordan); her great grandchild Kent Plaskon of Easton, MD.; and her sister-in-law Eva Lakowitz of Whiting, NJ. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
All services will follow masking and social distancing guidelines.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Nellie Perone's honor may be made to The Parkinson's Foundation, The Alzheimer's Association or Talbot Hospice Foundation.
