She was predeceased by: her parents, James Appleton and Rae Hannum Appleton Cziraki; and her sister Elizabeth Cziraki Sampson. She is survived by: her husband Howard Embert; her children, Jesse Embert and Jennifer Embert Coleman (Barry); her grandsons, Isaiah and Benjamin; her siblings, Teresa Cziraki of Puerto Rico, Edward Cziraki (Ninia) of San Jose and Joseph Appleton; her sister-in-law Diana Kenton (Albert); and her uncles, Harold Hannum and Raymond Hannum (Helen).
