He is survived by: his siblings, Timothy Philmore, Michael Allen Collins, Janet Lee Trott and Ruth Joyce Powers; his son Joseph Edward Collins; and his grandsons, Joseph Nathaniel and Brandon Edward Collins. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
