He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Gellert and Josephine Jeffra Gellert. He is survived by: his wife Amy Brenda Weber; his children, Whitney Barnett of Preston, Amy Crawford (Steve) of Preston and David J. Gellert Jr. (Joy) of Queenstown; his grandchildren, Tracie Crane (Colby), Matthew Gellert of Texas and Cody Crawford of Preston; and his great grandchildren, Olivia Gellert, Carter Crawford and Aiden Oliveri.
A celebration of life was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Kent Island Volunteer Fire Department (1610 Main St, Chester, MD 21619).
