He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Rudolf and Catherine M Gruenfelder (Carney); his siblings, Michael Gruenfelder, John Gruenfelder (Pam) and Delores Gruenfelder (Morello); and his sister-in-law Lorraine Gruenfelder.
He is survived by: his wife Marlene Gruenfelder; his children, John Gruenfelder (Mattia), James Gruenfelder (Lisa), Karen Gruenfelder, Theresa Gruenfelder and Christine Gruenfelder; his stepchildren, Kristine Zamarelli (David) and Andrew Drasser (Ali); his grandchildren, Nicole, John Gruenfelder, Amy, James Gruenfelder, Sean, Jack Fijalkowski, Henry Drasser and Katelynn Berlin; his brothers, Kenny Gruenfelder and Joseph Gruenfelder (Patty); and his brother-in-law Joe Morello. He is also survived by great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and other family members.
