He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Walter Sewell and Juliaetta Henry Sewell; and his sister Janice Hobbs. He is survived by: his sons, Jeffrey Yates Sewell (Cheryl) of Sykesville and Craig Sewell (Kristen) of Centreville; and his nephew Robert Hobbs, III of Centreville. He is also survived by his four grandchildren.
