It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arthur Wright (Centreville, Maryland), who passed away on March 6, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elwood Wright and Merion Wright (Thomas); his siblings, Florence Tingle of Virginia, Ruth Gross, James Wright, Norman Wright and Joseph Wright; his aunts, Virginia Brittingham and Mary W. Murray; and his uncle Henry Wright.
He is survived by: his children, Tracy Wright, Lawonza Ramsey Wharton (Edward), William Thomas Jr., David Thomas (Gerel) and Daniel Ramsey (Yvonne-Michele); his goddaughter Monique Brown; his siblings, Lollie Mae Smith, Barbara Hayes, Merion Brown, John Wright (Fannie) and George Wright (Bernadette); his friends, George Brittingham, Bertie Turner and Ellen Taylor; and also Lillie Avent. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends.
