He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin S. Athey, Sr. and Hazel Brady. He is survived by: his wife Teri of Centreville; his children, Andria McCormack (Erin) of Ocean City, MD and Bryan (Carleigh) of Berlin, MD; his grandchildren, Ethan, Michael, Matthew, Anna, Fiona and Winnie; and his sister Gloria Myers of Ocala. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
