He was predeceased by: his parent Frank Johnson, Sr.; his children, Shelly Johnson and Frank Johnson, III; and his sister Catherine Hollingsworth. He is survived by: his parent Mary Briscoe Johnson; his wife Phyllis B. Johnson; his children, Kevin Johnson, Mary Johnson, Inez Bailey and Orlando Johnson; and his sister Clara Johnson. He is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in his name to the American Cancer Society.
