Though Theodore may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Theodore touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Henrich Mayer and Amalie Mayer; and his brother Bernard Charles Mayer. He is survived by: his wife Ellen; his children, John Mayer of Lincoln Park, NJ and Jen Mayer of Arnold, MD; his sister-in-law Joyce Harris Mayer; and his nephew Robert Mayer (Nora).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Benevolent Care Fund at Charlestown or the American Heart Association.
