“I just found out about Rick's passing a few hours ago. I'm gutted to hear this very sad news. I knew Rick through his older brother Joe, when back in the late 70's until the mid 80's I worked with Joe's band "Blind Ambition" as their soundman/lightman/roadie and occasional drummer. The band practiced in Joe and,Rick's basement in the early stages of the band and Rick used to hangout with us. I have always cherished those memories and always will. Rest in Peace, Rick "Dude" Matthews🙏”
