She was predeceased by: her husband Ed. She is survived by: her children, Ed Serp (Betsy), Mindy Doring (Mark) and Karen Beer (Mike); her grandchildren, Alex Doring (Becca), Jason Doring, Kerry Doring, Emily Beer and Melissa Beer; and her great grandchildren, Natalie and Hannah Doring.
She spent much of her free time knitting blankets with her club Stitches from the Heart to donate to the NICU and bereaved parents at a local hospital.
