With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph Burgess Jr. of Catonsville, Maryland, who passed away on September 17, 2021 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Due to COVID there will be a 30 minute outdoor service on the platform of the North Carolina State Veterans Cemetery, 962 Old US 70 Highway, Black Mountain, NC 27811 on September 23, 2021 at 12:00 noon.
In lieu of flowers the family is requesting contributions be made in Joe's name to MemoryCare.org a non-profit organization which gives comprehensive support for those with dementia/Alzheimer's and their caregivers.
