He was predeceased by: his parents, John Spindler and Mary Spindler; his daughter Mary Teresa Spindler; and his sister Barbara Antonelli. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Spindler; his children, Teresa Paglione (Michael), Christina Kidd (Richard), Kimberly Vazquez (Joel, Sr.), Christopher Spindler (Laurie), Douglas Spindler (Silvana) and Charity Kronenwetter (Daniel); and his grandchildren, Emily Dressel, Riley, Samantha Paglione, Ross, Anna Kidd, Joel Jr., Ryan, Todd Vazquez, Tyler Spindler, Bailey, Izzy Spindler, Aiden and Noah Kronenwetter. He is also survived by his family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the Parkinson's Foundation or the American Heart Association.
