He was predeceased by: his parents, John L. Schneider, Sr. and Susan Fowble. He is survived by: his wife Grace; his sons, Mike Schneider of Owings, Tim Schneider (Laura) of New Orleans and Larry Devitt (Katie) of Sherwood Forest; and his grandchildren, Tommy, Danny, Becky, Greta Schneider, Mary Beth Blasetti (Nick), Robby Devitt (Amanda) and Patrick Devitt.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggests donations be sent to the National Kidney Foundation (https://www.kidney.org) in honor of John.
