He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Hancock and Edith Stehl; and his siblings, Albert, Robert Hancock and Florence Humbert.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Hancock; his children, John Hancock Jr. (Barbara) of Finksburg, MD and Deborah Ann John (Michael) of Windermere, FL.; his grandchildren, Chris, Ryan, Katy and Jim; and his great grandchildren, Cooper and Cameron. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
