He is survived by: his wife Alice Brooks; his children, James Braun and Jennifer Cooper; his siblings, Joan Brooks, Mary Livering (Dwyane), John Brooks and Robert Brooks; his aunt Nancy Dalesio (John); his cousins, Tina, Nicole and William Rydzynski; and his nieces and nephews, Melony, Dustin, William Livering, Brittany, John and Robert Brooks. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, one great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to St. Jude Research Hospital in James's name.
