Effie Jasek Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Effie Jasek of Catonsville, Maryland, born in Uniontown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 22, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Van Sickle and Annis Thorpe; her husband Walter Jasek; and her brothers, Cecil Morrison, Ray Van Sickle and Roy Van Sickle.

She is survived by: her children, Cecilia Roe, Linda Dewberry and Walter Jasek Jr.; her grandchildren, Jeffrey Dewberry, Walter Jasek III, Matthew Cheswick, Rachel Luber, Mitchell Jasek, Jessica Jasek, Luke Cheswick, Austin Roe and Brittany Carey; and her sister Hazel Frey.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Effie's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
