She was predeceased by: her parents, McKinley Deans and Mary Irene Deans; her daughters-in-law, Angela Brown and Rachel McGill; her grandchildren, Derek, Devin, Dewayna, Dior, Michael and Lexi-Renee; her great grandchildren, Isaiah, Nyzhir, Mina and Khadija; her goddaughter Nicole; her friends, Vicki Lynn Shockey, Natalie Tyson and Jessie Vollmerhausen; and her cousin Sheila Spence.
She is survived by: her husband Albert; and her sons, Rodney Kenneth Brown, Dwayne Renard Brown and Robin Maurice Joyner.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sterling Ashton Schwab Witzke Funeral Home of Catonsville (1630 Edmondson Ave, Catonsville, MD 21228). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Saint Joseph's Monastery Parish (3801 Old Frederick Rd, Baltimore, MD 21229).
