She was predeceased by: her parents, Glenn Alfred and Thelma Margaret Brown (Shover); her husband Ashby L. "Smitty" Smith; her children, Shirley Smith and Charles Smith; and her sister Glenda Gift.
She is survived by: her children, Gary L. Smith (Darlene) of Waynesboro, PA, Wayne A. Smith (Anita) of Maugansville, MD and Cindy L. Smith of Cascade. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; 2 two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 3rd 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home (50 S Broad St, Waynesboro, PA 17268). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 4th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Stephen's Community Church (25445 Highfield Rd, Highfield-Cascade, MD 21719).
