He was predeceased by: his parents, John "Monk" Washington and Doris Hackerson Washington; and his siblings, William Washington, Patricia Gutrick and Brenda Holland.
He is survived by: his wife Earlene Stevenson; his children, LaVonya Henderson (Michael) and Richard Washington (ZseTaun); and his grandchildren, Emmanuel Washington, Dylen, DeAndray II and Dionna Griffith. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.
