She is survived by: her children, Albert W. Cooks (Leah), Ronald Dean Cooks (Olga) and Valerie Cooks Wedge (late Melvin); her sister Ella Permint; her sister-in-law Effie Taylor; her daughter-in-law Dianne Y.; and her grandchildren, Lawrence (Terri), Anthony Cooks (Erika), Ebony Cooks, Annette Cooks Lancaster (David), Victoria J. Wedge, Carroll B. "C. J." Cooks, Jr. (Tabatha) and Marcus L. Wedge. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
