He was predeceased by: his father James Barnett. He is survived by: his mother Dorothy Johnson-Barnett; his siblings, James "Sandy" Barnett and Catricia Davis; his children, Doreen Weaver, Messina Wiseman (Shawn), Cherice Humes (Anthony), Gregory Wiseman Sr., Silas Weaver and Quentin Macon; his grandchildren, Shaquandra Weaver, Lauren Smith, Ayla Humes and Aylani Humes; his great grandchildren, Jurnee and Ziare Durham; his nephew Caleb Davis (Keya); and his great-nephew Noah. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins.
