She was predeceased by: her husband Randolph; and her sister Margeret. She is survived by: her sons, Loren Purdy (late Raquel), John Purdy (Dee) and Forrest Purdy (Carolyn); her grandchildren, Joseph, Cormac, Tiernan, Kylie, Evelyn, Claire and Connor; and her brothers, Robert and Kenneth.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Barranco Funeral Home (495 Ritchie Hwy, Severna Park, MD 21146). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Bay Catholic Church (701 College Pkwy, Annapolis, MD 21409).

“Claire was a compassionate Lady! A pillar in our community and loved her family her Sons and Ran. Being a trusted Shipmate in the FRA a Past Regional President in the East Coast Region she was loved by all.
