He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester T. Reese, Sr. and Jimmie McCoy Reese; his brothers, Scottie Lee Reese and Chester T. Reese, Jr.; his wife Rita Lowe Reese; his children, Shanda Tyler (James) of Plano, TX and William Walden (Maria) of Houston, TX; his siblings, Ronald Reese (Mary), Dwight Reese of Indianapolis, IN and Cheryl McChristian of Waco, TX; his grandchildren, Shalyn, Destiny Jones, Brijae Hairston and Mai-Ly Phan-Walden; his niece Daja Pickett; and his sisters-in-law, Velma Williams (Herbert), Willema Hardy, Doris Arrington (William), Carol Pickett and Dale Richardson.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Charles Drew Memorial Scholarship Fund.
