She was predeceased by: her husband Charles; and her children, Gwendolyn and Arthur. She is survived by: her daughter Ruby Tolbert; her children-in-law, Barbara and William; her son Marvin Butts of Ohio; her sister Sylvia Butts of Ohio; and her daughters, Shirley Davis-Wright, Karen Sescoe, Betty Williams and Delphine Owens. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and one on the way, one nephew.
