She was predeceased by: her parents, Steven Cothran, Sr. and Annie Frances Simmons Cothran; and her grandmother Michelle. She is survived by: her husband David Lewis Johnson; her daughter Michelle Denise; her son-in-law Terry Morse; her son Michael Johnson; her daughter-in-law Sonya Johnson; her grandson Tyler Morse; her siblings, Helen Cothran Spencer, Dorothy Cothran Cooper and Russell Cothran; and her siblings-in-law, George Spencer (Lin), Clydell Johnson, William Johnson, Walter Johnson, Alonzo Johnson, Shirley Cothran, Virginia Johnson and Carrie Johnson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and a host of relatives, friends, and neighbors.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Wiseman Funeral Home (4591 Allentown Rd, Suitland, MD 20746). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location.
