It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathleen Delores Merritt (Camp Springs, Maryland), born in Chadbourn, North Carolina, who passed away on May 16, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Annie Ruth Howard Lewis and Shade Lee Howard; her husband William Merritt; and her siblings, Thelma L. Tootle, Verlyn E. Anderson, Patricia A. Lawson, David J. Howard, Amos L. Howard and William R. Howard.
She is survived by: her children, Tamara Rollins, Ernest Daryl Bailey (Joyce) and Bradley Merritt (Sondra); and her siblings, Linda Bellamy (Charles) and Jerome Howard. She is also survived by Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, Friends and "Adopted Children".
