She was predeceased by: her husband Santiago Halog Dacanay, Sr.; and her parents, Leoncia Bucasas and Bernadino Badua. She is survived by: her son Santiago "Sonny" Dacanay Jr. (Grace); her grandchildren, Maria-Elisa (William Gallant) and Santiago "Joey" Dacanay III (Michelle); her great grandchildren, Alexander and Lily; and her grandson Francis "Grayson" Dacanay.
