He is survived by: his wife Alfreda Dixon; his children, James Dixon, Jr., Janita Cliette, Anthony Dixon and Athea Arnett; and his siblings, Mattie Curley, Dorothy Powe and Graham Dixon. He is also survived by six grandsons; seven granddaughters.
