It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cynthia Lynn Bowie (Camp Springs, Maryland), born in Springfield, Illinois, who passed away on April 24, 2020, at the age of 56, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Elmer and Julia Mae Hughes; and her brother Steven Ray Hughes. She is survived by: her husband Paul Dwayne Bowie, Sr.; and her children, Tylisa Thomas (Antione), LaKiesha Toney (Nathan), LaKendra Hayes (Fred) and Paul Bowie Jr. (Patrice). She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; four brothers; eight sisters; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbors and friends.
