He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas H. Adams, Sr. and Virginia Lowe Adams; his half-siblings, Ernestine Wheatley and James T. Adams; and his grandsons, William P. Cowin and John M. Cowin.
He is survived by: his significant other Betty "Wayne" Pritchett; his children, Steven A. Adams of Cambridge and Laura A. Cowin (Robert N. Cowin) of Trappe; his granddaughter Kathryn Marie Adams of Cambridge; his daughter-in-law Charlene H. Adams of Cambridge; his siblings-in-law, Julie P. Slacum of Cambridge and David F. Pritchett of Cambridge; and his half-sister Daphne Legg. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Box 236, Cambridge, MD 21613, for the benefit of the Cambridge Yacht Club's Junior Sail Program, whose mission is to open the world of sailing to all youth, including the underprivileged, by teaching them the fundamentals of sailing, racing, water safety, and sportsmanship.
