With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Phyllis A. Murphy (Cambridge, Maryland), who passed away on November 17, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Hurley and Esther Hurley. She is survived by: her husband Cecil R. Murphy of Murphy's Grocery; her sister Marilyn Luthy; her children, Jennifer Perilli (Jim), Jessica Hall (Bryan) and C. R. Murphy, Jr. (Susan); her siblings, Jim Hurley (Sioux), Jane Brasure and Joann Bourne (Henry); her grandchildren, Amber Larmore (Toby), Derek Hall (Jessica), Dillon Hall, Marissa Perilli, Christina Perilli, Kara Perilli, Chase Murphy, Hannah Adkins and Abby Payne (Colby); and her great grandchildren, Sienna, Arden, Jackson, Brynne Larmore, Eliana and Briggs Hall.
Viewing will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Immanuel United Church of Christ (5401 Whitehall Rd, Cambridge, MD 21613). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you to make a donation to American Cancer Society @ cancer.org since she was a breast cancer survivor.
