He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin G. Hickman, Sr. and Lee Blades Hickman; and his brother Jimmy Hickman. He is survived by: his wife Kathryn "Kitten" Hickman of Cambridge; his sons, Michael Hickman (Sheila) of Linkwood and Gary Hickman (Tammy) of Cambridge; his grandsons, Tucker Hickman (Taylor) and Tanner Hickman; his great grandchild Lawson Hickman; and his sister Carolyn Dennis of South Carolina. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
