She was predeceased by: her parents, William G. LaChappelle Jr. and Barbara Shorter Myerly; her stepfather Roy "Bo" Myerly; her grandparents, Murial, Granville Shorter, William LaChappelle Sr. and Stella Locke LaChappelle; and her niece Stephanie Daniel.
She is survived by: her daughter Shelly Tinsley; her stepson Joseph Bennet Sr. of Laurel, DE.; her grandsons, Michael LaChappelle of Max Meadows, Dylan Tinsley (Kaylee) of Max Meadows and Dustin Tinsley (Crystal) of Max Meadows; her great grandchildren, Aurora Tinsley, Atthiela LaChappelle and Kiara Tinsley; her siblings, William G. LaChappelle, Faith Cannon of Crisfield, Mellissa LaChappelle, Michele Hernandez of California, Rebecca Mandes of Connecticut, Holly Cook and Yvonne Church (Terry) of Cambridge; her uncle Jerry Shorter (Nichole) of South Carolina; and her niece Angel Osborne (Dorothy Taylor). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and many cousins.
