It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maxine Regina Stanley (Cambridge, Maryland), who passed away on February 10, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Stanley and Mildred Y. Stanley; her husband Norman Stanley; her daughter Shanel Chester; and her siblings, Ralph Young and Delphine Lee.
She is survived by: her daughter Diane Allen (New Jersey); her stepdaughters, Michelle Scott (Christopher) and Janice Stanley-Milton of Phoenix Arizona; her sons, Jerome Stanley (Victoria), Anthony Stanley (Towanna), James Chester (Sharon) and Byron Chester; her stepson Byron Pinder of Baltimore, MD.; her siblings, Arjorie Chandler, Shelton Stanley, Carlton Stanley and Arnette Stanley; and her brother-in-law Randolph Stanley (Nona). She is also survived by grandchildren, thirty-one (31) great grandchildren, and five (5) great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Viewing was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Waugh Chapel Um Church (425 High St, Cambridge, MD 21613). A celebration of life was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the same location.
