Mary Geraldine Thompson Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Geraldine Thompson of Cambridge, Maryland, who passed away on September 18, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Isaac Westly Wallace and Mable Greene Wallace; her sons, Nathan Thompson, Jr., Vaughn Roscoe Thompson and Bruce Michael Thompson; and her siblings, Bernice Bridell, Juanita Gibson, Ester Martin, Edith Wallace, Bradford Newman, John Wallace, James Wallace, Rayfield Wallace, Garfield Newman and Monroe Wallace.

She is survived by: her daughter Tina M. Thompson of Cambridge, MD; her husband Nathan Thompson, Sr. of Cambridge, MD; her children, Russell E. Hawkins (Shelley) of Egg Harbor, NJ, Brent L. Thompson, Sr. of Salisbury, MD and Naomi A. Wallace of Easton, MD; her sister Ruth E. Elliott (Herbert) of Cambridge, MD; her grandson Jeffery D. Thompson; her nephew Norvel B. Thompson; her adoptive daughter Renna McKenney; her sister-in-law Mary F. Thompson; her friends, Melvin and Lois Young; and also Sylvia Stanley. She is also survived by grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and other relatives; and many dear friends.
